I'm sure some of you have heard the Trojan condom commercials they air on the radio. I heard one today, and it got me thinking.

How appropriate that a condom manufacturer would select "trojan" as their brand name. Think about it. How else to breach the 'impregnable' walls of Troy than to trick the gullible city into harbouring your giant stallion? What better was to conceal your attack than under the guise of a gift of frienship? How unsuspecting that city must have been when, under the cover of the night, thousands of 'solidiers' errupted from within the hollow shafts of the monument... How insidious the plan to destroy the city from the inside out...

I dont think I need to further stress the militaristic, violent and deceptive image of the trojan horse and how creepy it is that it has become the logo for 'safe sex'
